Roleworthy Terms of Service

These Terms of Service describe the rules for using Roleworthy, a job-search software product provided by Roleworthy Labs LLC (“Roleworthy,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). By creating an account, using Roleworthy, or purchasing a subscription, you agree to these Terms.

If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use Roleworthy.

1. What Roleworthy provides

Roleworthy is an online job-search workspace that helps users discover relevant roles, review job fit, organize opportunities, and create job-search materials such as cover letters.

Roleworthy may include AI-assisted features. These features are intended to help you think, draft, organize, and evaluate job opportunities. They do not replace your judgment.

Roleworthy is not an employer, recruiter, staffing agency, career counselor, financial advisor, legal advisor, or background-check service. Roleworthy does not guarantee interviews, job offers, compensation, hiring outcomes, or application success.

2. Accounts

You may need an account to use certain features. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for activity that occurs under your account.

You agree to provide accurate account information and to keep your account secure. You may not create accounts to abuse free limits, bypass access controls, interfere with the service, or misrepresent your identity.

We may suspend, limit, or terminate access if we believe your account is being used in violation of these Terms, to harm the service, to evade plan limits, or to create legal, security, or operational risk.

3. Plans and access

Roleworthy may offer Free, Pro, Premium, trial, beta, or other plans.

At launch, the expected plan structure is:

• Free: limited access to selected Roleworthy features.
• Pro: a paid monthly subscription that unlocks additional manual job-search features.
• Premium: visible as Coming Soon and not purchasable unless and until Roleworthy makes it available.

Feature availability, plan limits, pricing, and plan names may change over time. If we materially change paid plan pricing or access, we will apply those changes according to applicable law and the terms presented at the time.

4. Pro subscription

Roleworthy Pro is a monthly subscription. Unless stated otherwise at checkout, Pro is billed monthly and renews automatically until canceled.

You authorize Roleworthy and its payment processor to charge your selected payment method for subscription fees and applicable taxes. Payments are processed by Stripe or another payment provider. Roleworthy does not store your full card number.

If payment fails, we may keep your Pro access active for a limited grace period. If payment is not recovered, your account may be downgraded to Free.

5. Cancellation

You may cancel your paid subscription at any time through the billing portal or another cancellation method we provide.

Cancellation stops future renewal. Unless otherwise required by law or stated at the time of cancellation, you will continue to have access to paid features through the end of the then-current paid billing period.

6. Refund policy

Monthly subscription payments are non-refundable except where required by law or where Roleworthy chooses, in its sole discretion, to make an exception.

7. User content

You may submit information to Roleworthy, including resume text, job preferences, target roles, locations, notes, cover-letter inputs, job records, and other job-search materials (“User Content”).

You retain ownership of your User Content. You grant Roleworthy a limited license to use, process, store, display, and transmit User Content as necessary to provide, secure, maintain, and improve the service.

You are responsible for your User Content. Do not submit content that you do not have the right to use or content that is illegal, harmful, infringing, deceptive, or abusive.

Avoid submitting highly sensitive information unless it is necessary for your use of the service. Do not submit Social Security numbers, government identification numbers, banking credentials, full payment card numbers, medical records, or other highly sensitive information unless we explicitly request it through a secure flow.

8. AI-generated and assisted content

Roleworthy may generate summaries, fit assessments, job-search suggestions, cover-letter drafts, resume-positioning suggestions, and other AI-assisted outputs.

AI-assisted output may be incomplete, inaccurate, outdated, or unsuitable for your circumstances. You are responsible for reviewing and editing outputs before using them. You should verify job details, employer information, compensation, requirements, deadlines, and application instructions directly with the employer or official source.

Roleworthy does not guarantee that AI-generated materials are unique, error-free, legally compliant, or effective for any specific job application.

9. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• violate applicable laws or third-party rights;
• use Roleworthy to harass, deceive, spam, scrape, or harm others;
• interfere with, overload, reverse engineer, or attack the service;
• bypass plan limits, access controls, account restrictions, or security protections;
• use automated scripts or bots except as expressly allowed by Roleworthy;
• submit malicious code, harmful content, or unlawful content;
• resell, sublicense, or commercially exploit Roleworthy without written permission;
• use Roleworthy to make employment, credit, housing, insurance, or other regulated decisions about other people.

10. Third-party services

Roleworthy may use third-party providers for authentication, payments, hosting, analytics, AI services, email, security, and other functions. Your use of third-party services may also be subject to those providers’ terms and policies.

Roleworthy may link to employer websites, job boards, applicant tracking systems, or other third-party sites. We do not control those sites and are not responsible for their content, availability, accuracy, policies, or practices.

11. Intellectual property

Roleworthy and its software, design, branding, workflows, documentation, and related materials are owned by Roleworthy Labs LLC or its licensors. These Terms do not give you ownership of Roleworthy intellectual property.

You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, lease, reverse engineer, or create derivative works from Roleworthy except as allowed by law or with written permission.

12. Beta, test, and experimental features

Some Roleworthy features may be labeled beta, preview, experimental, Coming Soon, or otherwise limited. These features may change, break, be removed, or be unavailable without notice.

13. Privacy

Our Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, share, and protect information. By using Roleworthy, you agree that we may process information as described in the Privacy Policy.

14. Service availability

We work to keep Roleworthy reliable, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted availability. The service may be unavailable due to maintenance, errors, provider outages, security issues, or factors outside our control.

15. Disclaimers

Roleworthy is provided “as is” and “as available.” To the fullest extent allowed by law, we disclaim warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, accuracy, availability, and error-free operation.

We do not warrant that Roleworthy will find every relevant job, accurately evaluate every job, generate perfect content, prevent mistakes, or produce any hiring outcome.

16. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent allowed by law, Roleworthy Labs LLC will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, including lost profits, lost opportunities, lost data, job-search outcomes, or business interruption.

To the fullest extent allowed by law, our total liability for any claim related to Roleworthy will not exceed the greater of: (a) the amount you paid to Roleworthy in the three months before the event giving rise to the claim, or (b) $100.

Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so some of these limits may not apply to you.

17. Indemnity

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Roleworthy Labs LLC from claims, damages, liabilities, losses, and expenses arising from your use of Roleworthy, your User Content, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of law or third-party rights.

18. Termination

You may stop using Roleworthy at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms, create security or operational risk, fail to pay, or use the service in a harmful or unlawful way.

Termination does not automatically entitle you to a refund.

19. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If changes are material, we will take reasonable steps to notify users. Your continued use of Roleworthy after changes become effective means you accept the updated Terms.

20. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, except where applicable law requires otherwise.
